The framing and editing of this film really aides in building tension and keeping the emotion of the film flowing.

The cuts and transitions were unsettling at times in all the perfect ways.

The acting here by next to every single cast member is perfect. The characters didn’t feel like they were being played, it felt like they were brought to life through the screen.

One of my favourite horror films to date, Robert Eggers has yet to disappoint in my opinion.

Ridley Scott with another classic, the emotion and story was carried week throughout the movie and the editing complimented well. The score really tied the riveting moments together,  and made the smaller moments stand out.

What in the film school project was this.

The editing and story are what I imagine AI is going to shit out in a few years time.

A beautifully shot, well executed story of survival. The tension, emotion, joy and sadness you feel is displayed in such a good way.

Different lenses in different moments to portray certain emotions worked fluidly. A great movie and story.
