  I was going to start this off comically but actually this was a beautifully shot film. 

  One of my favorite scenes is when the camera is wide view overlooking her family walking through the snow before you see her two worlds meet each other for the first time. The camera angle felt suspenseful, almost like a scene Ari Aster would shoot.

  Well now I get why Zoe Kravitz broke off the engagement to Channing Tatum. 

  I also could never look at him the same after seeing how well he played that character. Also, I hope the veneers are a part of the costume and not his actual teeth. They added a whole Jeffrey Dahmer aspect to his character. 

  I think some of the themes could’ve have been filmed in different shots… this film had the potential to be extremely suspenseful through color and contrast. It still was gorgeous and the story was wild, but I wanted to see more detail and suspense.

  Sacramento is like your worst ex that you can’t help but love. You can’t stand anything they do, you kinda hate them, but they hold one of the most fun, carefree, creative, childish versions of you. 

  This film is that. An homage to 916.  If you survived the 916 and you’re still here… you are the strongest person I know.
