    A film that takes you by the hand and makes you laugh through a harsh reality depicted with the typical American dream.

    In terms of cinematography, it's a beautiful film, though with potential for even more. The story is technically simple, and predictable but it’s the way it’s told and the performances that elevate it. The use of color and costume, and how they reflect these almost cartoonish characters, is one of the best parts of the film.

    One of the best movies of 2024, uncomfortable, grotesque, and twisted.

    Incredible and captivating premise, great performances from the two lead actresses.

    I like how the movie paints the image of the obscene and filthy Hollywood producer from the start, however shows us how the audience and sometimes even the leads can carry part of the responsibility on creating/encourging this toxic behaviors and unrealistic expectations in society.

    This is the third Robert Eggers movie I’ve seen, and once again, he nailed it. While this one is a bit more commercial than the others, it still feels really unique and authentic, which is something I love about his work.
