Really loved seeing an intelligent alien species that is both not hostile, and unappealing to most people as giant “bugs.” They were cute and I loved how they moved 🪲
It was interesting to see the differences between Mickey 17 and 18 and the different sides of him confronted with each other.

"they say if you put your ear to the ground, you can still hear the cries and whispers of those who perished under the flood."
A poignant film with gorgeous shots and a slow pace that forces you to take in the moment and the land that is being stolen from the people. The emotions that the characters are feeling are beyond words, and are expressed with the beautiful sound design. It saddens me to think about all of the stories of people who were displaced similarly that are not known.
