This is no hype. It is seriously the performance of Jennifer Lopez’s career thus far. She’s been good in movies before, but she next leveled here. I’m rooting for her to be nominated and even win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. She’s extraordinary!

The Last Black Man in San Francisco 2019
A moving, stellar piece of filmmaking. Exquisitely acted and written. I loved this movie. The bookend to my beloved genius Barry Jenkins’ quiet masterpiece (in my opinion) “Medicine for Melancholy”. See this film as soon as you can get to it. I hope it has a very strong presence during award season.
