I was originally going to give this only 2 stars with no comment. But then the movie had a climatic chase scene in a trolly. There is something special about using a slow moving vehicle for a “exciting” set piece. That was charmingly admirable. The exploding model at the end was the icing on the cake.

If you don’t think snowboarding/other extreme snowboarding is the most amazing thing ever this is kind of tough to get through. But if you’re with friends who love unintentional laughs then this is ridiculous and stupid fun. Plus they obviously went to great lengths to make this, so 3 stars.

Baffling as much as it is entertaining. Watch with friends and laugh your ass off.
The 90s era of “what we thought virtual reality would be” hits hard in this one. Combine that with the dangers of AI theme and you got yourself one hell of a flick. Also laser tag with a robot in a suburban home? Amazing.
Would be great as the 2nd half of a double feature with Deadly Friend.

The passion is bigger than the talent in Ed Wood. A project from Tim Burton who obviously loves the subject matter within. It all works so beautifully. A great cast of movie stars and character actors performing in the best script ever written for a Tim Burton movie.
On a side note, no other movie wants me to get back into making movies with my friends. And no other scene reminds me how fun it is than when they are filming the flying saucer set on fire.
