Better Man 2024
yeah this was pretty fucking awesome! the vfx and cinematography were on point, this was just mesmerizing to look at. also the musical sequences and choreographies were exquisite (what was that rock dj scene?? my god). this was so well directed (and edited!!!), i knew from the first scene that it was all building up to that iconic my way perfomance at royal albert hall. jonno davies aced this, i laughed and cried so many times throughout the entire thing lol

as always, i'm 100% pro sex movies, but um. something missing here. the beginning felt very rushed and the motivations very blurry. i went into this expecting to be blown away by kidman since everyone was talking about her (and she really is very good here) but was pleasantly surprised by dickinson! especially the scene in the shitty hotel room, the chuckle really got me, very real. and his "you have 7 minutes" made me gasp lol
