Colin Firth was great, Geoffrey Rush was Very good, and I guess HBC was as well with what little she had to do, but otherwise I felt that this was thoroughly standard. Teen Titans Go! To the Movies 2018
A super mixed bag. For every fun reference to obscure DC characters, there’s an extended poop joke, just for example. The characters are all rather loud and annoying, but it’s by nature and plays into the overall tone of the movie well. Seeing this Deadpool-esque breakdown of Superhero cliches written for kids was actually kind of fun, even if there was a lot of other dreck to trudge through along the way. Not high art or anything, but a fun watch in the background, if you don’t mind a little headache.

The Incredibles 2004
I struggle to think of more creative action scenes in any movie of the last 20 years, let alone animated movies. Just so expertly crafted, each element adding to the last perfectly. A great example of the capabilities of animation to tell a fundamentally adult story in a way that is exciting and interesting to those of all ages.
