Besides the fact that I enjoy smug little white boys, Zendaya, and threesomes where smug little white boys and Zendaya kiss, this was unironically a really good sports drama where I was genuinely invested in the relationships of the characters and the outcome of the matches. I also was indeed rooting for them to kiss in a lot of the flashback scenes, but that has nothing to do with my rating of the movie.
