Dune: Part Two 2024
Villenueve’s methodical pacing, meticulous framing, and masterful exercise in restraint seen in Part One is unfortunately absent in its sequel. Instead, Dune Part Two is a more conventional film - and although it will surely appeal to a much larger audience, fans of the auteur’s previous instalment may be left disappointed by the jarring change of filmmaking style between the two films.
