Conclave 2024
Wasn't at all expecting this to be as riveting as it turned out to be; I'm surprised by how invested I became in the drama between these messy queens lol. I semi-predicted the ending but it was still a satisfying twist!
Seriously a really great film through & through, excellent by all measures.

This was so visually impressive & genuinely creative! There's a lot to appreciate, from the color palette to the atmosphere, set design (especially the use of rotating stages) early chroma-key tech, lighting, camera work; it's all just really wonderful (especially what we see on the third night).
