this film was so calming and comforting to me in a sense.
what really caught my attention was the symbolism in the ice skating scene. they stayed together as a family but almut drifted away from them gracefully. then we’re followed by consecutive shots of almut being more distant from them waving goodbye, almost symbolizing her departure from her chaotic and carefully constructed family. i adored how this film didn’t need to make a big deal of her death yet…

sofia coppola you are an icon.
the storytelling throughout this movie was so intricate and detailed to priscilla's story and properly captures so many things especially the manipulation and consumption of fame elvis presley has succumbed to.
the cinematography and color scheme is Obviously beautiful and just so visually pleasing to look at which is a constant in sofia coppola's films. i swear i took so many screenshots
anyway men suck, im so glad i finally got to watch this movie!!!!
