David Lynch’s ideations towards the surreal have brought forth such intense emotions towards taboo concepts. Yet again, Blue Velvet delves into the violence of sex—which Lynch often depicts within his work. Frank was terrifying, this man of anger with a lust of sex and the violent. Isabella Rossellini did an amazing job at depicting Dorothy Vallens, and she did so with so much passion in her lines. Kyle MacLachlan, amazing as always.
