    Before & After.

Distilled Emotion. Dread. Fear. & loss, for what we already have & for what we will. For me, this is Lynch’s most personal piece of work. Watch your friend suffer. Watch her die.

It was a truly magical thing hearing the “Twin Peaks” theme song echo through the auditorium of the Egyptian Theatre.

This one surprised me. So much of it emulates an Altman movie; We bounce between couples & families as they leave their houses & attend a championship football game. Everything from parking to finding their seats. We see a father’s frustrations with himself that he can’t afford to buy his son’s souvenirs. Outbursts of anger. Shame. I’ve got so many banger one liner reviews for this movie:
    - I’m glad I got to see Jon Voight & Dustin Hoffman in IMAX.
    - “Megalopolis” provides humanity with dry humping in IMAX.
    - “Megalopolis” provides humanity with Shia LaBeouf’s pubes in IMAX.
    - I act just like Cesar Catilina when I’m drunk.
    - Megalopolis’ biggest innovations are escalators & hamster wheels.
    - Francis Ford Coppola made a $120 million dollar Motern movie.
    - “Megalopolis” is like if Neil Breen tried…

I hate when an event looms over me. For whatever reason, I just don’t want to go to things I’ve known about forever. Comedy shows, cool movie screenings, I just don’t want to go (because I’m so depressed all the time)

But… When you finally go… When you finally get there & park & walk & get in your seat & “the event” starts, I’m always glad I did get up & go. I’m glad I saw “Babylon” tonight (in glorious 70 MM)

    I love…
