The Lazarus Effect 2015
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Short lived movie with less than an hour and a half runtime. The visuals were cool but the plot was scattered when Zoe was brought back. Yes she had like 100% of her brain ability unlocked to use, but why did it seem like she was possessed? She died and ended up in Hell reliving her worst memory, but why the hell does she have black eyes and killing everyone? And the ending was even more of a cluster leaving the worst open ended questions.

Borderline 2025
Very light 3.5 but a lot of the movie did make me laugh. It was to the point i wanted more of a comedy than the “horror” driven story. Samara Weaving was great for the part she played and can we not forget about the cop? I think he would have nailed that audition.

How can you hate Robby P after a performance like that? Or Marky Ruffs? The story was great and the pacing didn’t leave anything out, but didn’t drag. Did i mention Mark Ruffalo? He was in it and he was stupidly brilliant. And the last shoutout has to go to Mark Ruffalo for playing the most brain dead character in the movie. There is no favorite Bong Joon-Ho movie between Parasite, Memories of Murder and now Mickey 17.
