This is one of those rare movies where I genuinely believe this was a scam. Like Sam Jackson got paid millions to walk around a vineyard, and them spend his remaining 7 minutes of screen time watching a basketball game

The Matrix Resurrections 2021
A really great short film about the nature of forced sequels, creative choices made by people not involved in its inception, and amusing lampooning a lot of it. (Even if there are better films that do something similar.) But becomes another Matrix sequel throughout most of it. Jada Pinkett Smith is a terrible exposition dispenser. I appreciate the attempt to try to redeem Trinity because they did her dirty in the sequels but she doesn’t get enough screen time. Really…
