Love Hurts 2025
I came in expecting a kinda generic action romance movie, and I sure did get one. My power was out and it came back in the middle of this movie, so at least when I ask myself where I was when the Great Power Outage of 2025 ended, I can at least say I was watching Love Hurts. That's why I'm not as harsh on this film as I could be. It was very okay, my biggest issue is that it could've been longer and the story could have had more time to breathe.

I finally found a copy after searching online a few months ago.
It's a generic rom-com but in Turkish. There were no subtitles so I just had to play off vibes, but there wasn't much there to work with. The only enjoyment I got was the cameo from not-yet-mayor of NYC Eric Adams, a fitting appearance since he's currently being investigated for taking bribes from the Turkish government. I would probably enjoy this film more if I spoke Turkish and got whatever cultural references there were.

God of Gamblers 1989
This film is odd. The sheer amount of movies that are connected to this is ridiculous, but what about the movie itself? I'm still not 100% sure how to feel 2 days after watching it. It has its funny moments, but there's a more emotional tone to it as well. Some of the jokes about the main character age regressing after being hit in the head made me uncomfortable, which was my biggest problem with the film. Otherwise, it's good.
