  Imagine a gorgeous, huge, crystal chandelier, with a disgusting used fly trap hanging from it. This is one frame from the film and all you need to know about it. Wonderful to look at but when you spot the trap it makes you sick.
  A brilliant film and the cinematography and the whole aesthetic side is unbelievable.

  I was hoping to fall for this film.
  When a film won the Palme d'Or at Cannes, I had very high expectations of it. I admit that I expected more. The film could have ended differently, it could have ended at a different point, or it could have been shorter. I didn't need all the answers. However, the acting was of a wonderful standard (the dog outdid himself), the tension was well maintained, empathising with the characters came easily, and the whole scenes were downright brilliant.
