When I watched this film, I related to it a lot. The way Jonah Hill casted the characters, I can tell he’s grown up with people like this.
It’s real. I find that Hollywood just overplays the story line to have some elaborate plot or character growth, but I think the realism presented here shows us more character development than anything big cinema can give.
Definitely worth a watch, made me reflect a lot on my early developmental years and the transition from kid to teen.
On a less serious note: it’s the guy version of euphoria
