To think that I probably saw trailers for this as a kid is crazy, already feels like a classic. I can’t tell if impatiently waiting for shit to hit the fan (as I knew it would in a Tarantino movie) made it better or worse but man was it satisfying when it got going. It also somehow made me miss MN while in summer on an island so I’m taking that to mean the cabin vibes were on point. Also speaking of that island.. shoutout for a Kiwi character and an Auckland mention, definitely did not have that on my bingo card for the movie.

Django Unchained 2012
Man that was fun. I feel like it justified its length as well which is something I’ve become picky about. I don't think it has the same rewatchability as my other 5 stars but it was such a blast to watch that idrc. As of now Pulp Fiction still remains my favorite Tarantino.

Flow 2024
Really enjoyable watch, probably my favorite movie I’ve seen so far without dialogue. The animation was a little odd to me at first, almost like a render or draft of a more finished style. I really liked the simple plot though, it didn’t feel like any given message was pushed too hard.
Side note, I feel like movies getting longer lately has me appreciating a short run time.

Good Will Hunting 1997
This movie proves you can know everything about life without knowing what it really means to live.
I rarely rewatch movies but when your roommate puts on Good Will Hunting you don’t say no. Forever an all time favorite.
