Had this been a story, which for almost the entire film it was, of two people struggling to find their place in bustling Tokyo and coming together to become great friends, I’d of loved it. These two are so clearly a father and daughter dynamic for the whole film, they even discuss how she’s just left college and Bill is going through a midlife crisis.
