I feel as though that the director attempted to make an art film, that is very thinly veiled as a documentary. Everything about it feels contrived, to the point of feeling fake, if I'm completely honest. To the latter point, even in the final scene, where Anwar is seemingly coming to realize the implications of his actions, it feels entirely disingenuous. Completely emotionally empty piece of shit, garbage film.
