  So noisy and busy but it finds these little pockets of space amid the chaos where honesty and heart can shine through. It'll probably be an interesting one to watch again.

  Hardly seems fair to assign a rating to this but I did enjoy the compositions and found myself pretty invested in the rounds of pool and chess. I do wonder what this movie would've been like if it had been completed. Probably another banger.

  It wasn't exactly good but I can't call it bad. We were expecting worse. I just liked all the little flashes of creative brilliance, some interesting shot compositions here and there elevated it slightly.

  And I want Tom Waits to cover the song from the beginning.

  I'm really falling for Akerman's patient style. It's fearless and it really pulls you in.
