The Royal Tenenbaums 2001
One of my favorite films ever. Tackles the complexity of interfamilial relationships in a way that is truly uncanny. There’s good, bad, ugly…but it’s all worthwhile. If you’re lucky enough, you wouldn’t trade it for the world. It doesn’t lose its edge and never feels sappy, but damnit it gets me every time. The cast is incredible.
