  With The Swarm, an old French dream resurfaces, that of a perfectly drawn fantastic parable, of an uninterrupted trance, of an irreducible “gendered” gesture. Produced in France, in French. The recurring dream of the insatiable film buff, who immediately forgets the few great successes of the past (too scattered to "become a school"), including the most recent (Grave by Julia Ducourneau resists a little here) to place all his hopes in the new.
