Crying in the clerb. Excellent storytelling and cinematography that framed the horrors of living in pre-civil rights movement America as an African-American. Felt very familiar and nostalgic and could draw comparisons to the boys with my own childhood in Florida. These were children. A quote that stuck out to me, “you may have grand plans for your life, but if a man is called by God to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted”
