Strange Darling 2023
This movie had me hooked from the opening scene. It was shot beautifully with a killer soundtrack to match. Has the esthetic of an instant classic. Bottom line can’t trust them respectable ladies haha.

Movie was drawn out but finally left you with the moral conundrum of what is justice at the end which would have been a solid 3 star movie but the last scene of the movie tried to leave a dramatic cliff hanger that ruins the whole movie by trying to be too “provocative”. Last line of the movie should have been I’m here to pick up the 4Runner.

The setting was so beautiful and really added to the atmosphere of this fucked up family thriller! The plot leaves a lot up to the audience to figure out throughout the movie never holding your hand to the answer. The scares were great and the comic relief was even better when they sprinkled it in. Had me from beginning to end and would totally rewatch this one.
