  I should really respect my time more

  this movie is 2 hours and 15 minutes long but they could have cut 50% of it

  it contains shades of a good movie, and you can see them, but as soon as you start to think "oh maybe it's not that bad" it does it's best to rid you of that thought

  this movie is insanely good and an amazing swag litmus test

  jarmusch is so good at those weird little throwaway vignette type scenes... the boat on the roof scene is spectacular

  so much of the visual aspects of this film mirror the attention and care that the forrest whitaker plays ghost dog with. the result is this weirdly comforting and cozy visual asmr that compliments while also contrasting the goofiness.

  this is my favourite "new york is a character" movie ever probably... feels so close to my own childhood especially with the language barrier stuff

  beautiful film; waited way too long to watch it
