Ok, so the one liners can be a little cheesy. The action can be a bit over the top. But as far as a popcorn movie, I don't think you're going to do much better. I've watched this movie many times and I always get what I want out of it, which is a great freaking time. The car chases go extremely hard and the music ties the whole thing together. As an acion movie fan who always has a song playing in their head, this one is for me.

The Producers 1967
The core concept of this movie is amazing, I just don't think a lot of the schtick has aged very well. Some of the jokes feel like punching down and some are just a little too dumb and cheap. However, you simply cannot beat the song and dance number.

Very visually beautiful but I'm not sure if it's worth the 3 and a half hour runtime. Plenty of time to come to a satisfying resolution and I left a little frustrated with a lot of questions. But maybe that's the point. Overall more good than bad tho
