Hereditary 2018
I wanted to throw up so many times and I honestly can’t recommend this in good faith. The ending was bat shit and weird; however, the majority of the movie was quite engaging. Exploiting, problematic movie; horrible implications for disabilities & mental illness. Heavy handed garbage trying to be something unique. Honestly when you get down to it, I wanted a nuanced discussion of family, trauma, mental illness, disabilities. Instead, I got manipulative trash.
