there were moments i liked, but overall i didn’t like the movie. story felt a bit bloated and not robust. in the end, some character arcs felt unclear or not a result of consequential plot beats. also, personally, animals/aliens translated to human speech is a major turnoff.
i can’t help but feel that if they cut some characters out and consolidated the story the movie would feel more solid.
premise is still cool. world building wasn’t so bad. performances were great. music was great. visuals were good. rob was fun to watch. the movie did get a number of heehee-haha’s out of me.
