  This had potential. At first I thought this would be perfect for me, I love crime dramas, I love slashers, and most of all I love rain! But around a third of the way in it derailed into a cheesy romance between the cop and the FBI agent's ex wife (two very annoying characters, and the two guys had way better chemistry and should have stuck to the homoerotic vibe between them instead).   Death Spa 1988

  Holy shit this is so underrated! So good, way better than I expected. One of those glossy late '80s slashers also with giallo, erotic thriller, and scifi and supernatural elements. It was very stylish, the production value was great, kills were awesome, unique and gory, set design was beautiful, plot was bonkers (a super computer runs all of the machines in the spa, and other crazy things that are spoilers). I LOVE this movie!!
