Love be like ''I will end in heartbreak or death'', my partner in life you made the pain of existence worthwhile
Even if there's quite a few things to like about this, I think it's sadly a bit on the weaker side of Bong's filmography, which doesn't stop it from being a really fun watch. Very Okja/Snowpiercer-coded. Robert Pattinson proves once again that he's one of the greatest of all time.
One of the best Rohmers I've seen so far. Obviously it helps that I will always remain a sucker for a movie consisting of long conversations during a summer vacation, with bonus point for making it a coastal city, but I feel like this one not only combines a lot of what I enjoy about Rohmer's work beyond the setting and the gorgeous visuals, but also excels at it : strong characters, dialogue that is both natural and thoughtful, and especially a masterpiece of nuances and subtle gestures. But anyway, this is a movie for all the bag fumblers out there lol

Watched the Criterion Blu-Ray as well as the special features included. Looks absolutely gorgeous. 4th time watching, I obviously love this film. An all-time favorite for sure. Final scene gets me every time:(
