A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master 1988
CRAAAAZY sets and special effects and visuals. honestly couldn’t believe certain kills they were off the walls. The water bed??? The roach scene???? It’s madness. Did I appreciate the disrespect to my beloved dream warriors? no, but I still had a good time.

The Evil Clergyman 1988
my disdain for charles band could not win against my intense need to see Jeffery combs as a sexy priest......good performances (how could they not be, barbara crampton does a combs impression) and an actually amazing gothic music score make this short movie an easy watch. I'm not familiar with the original Lovecraft story, but this definitely plays out more like a steamy (and pretty misogynistic) goth romance paperback than anything else.
Its not particularly GOOD but jeffery combs does strip off his clerical collar seductively as an evil priest-ghost so! 4 stars
