Salt and Fire 2016
Well at least it ticked off Bolivia on my Letterboxd world map. That's the only real positive I got out of this.

Star Trek: Section 31 2025
I'll give it a nice mediocre 3 stars because I really enjoyed Rachel Garrett's character. Without her it would have been much lower.

Mad Max: Fury Road 2015
Great film all around. I'd probably say it was my favourite Mad Max film now. Although it has been a long time since I saw any of the others. There's no messing about or meandering, it just dives right in to the action and never really lets up. Good acting, excellent effects work and the action was all understandable. You always knew who was fighting who and why rather than it being a mess of explosions and cuts which you get so often in action sequences.

Harvard Man 2001
Wow, how does Sarah Michelle Gellar, mid-Buffy & post-Cruel Intentions, end up in such utter drivel? A paper thin plot where the entire second act is a pointless LSD trip, constant unnecessary jump cuts, weird floaty camera moves all the time and extremely poor audio mixing/editing. Oh and the copy on Amazon Prime is widescreen but formatted for 4:3 so it ends up windowboxed. Just avoid it. Without SMG I'd have stopped watching.
