A little disappointed with this one. It was a fun watch with a great premise and some good bits in there but it felt like a South Park episode and the satire just felt too goofy and heavy handed. I think O’Russel’s movies are generally underrated but this one didn’t really land for me and I even liked Amsterdam. I’d give it another try sometime but it could have been better.

Solid, fun early 200s middlebrow action, decent acting all around with a standout performance from Meryl Streep. It doesn’t beat the original but it’s honestly not too far off.
