This film reminds a building without a foundation. Whilst the acting is solid, the dialogues are good, and the overall cinematography is eye-pleasing, the script is the film's weakest point. The protagonist's 'pretending drunk and putting guys to their place' strategy is kind of stupid and underwhelming, and all the twists and turns were quite predictable. I wish the main character was more badass given that this is a revenge story.

In the plot department, the Blade Runner sequel isn't always smooth, logical or innovative, but its jaw-dropping, breath-stopping visuals will keep you glued to the screens and will make you lose yourself in its realm at some point. With this film, Denis cemented his reputation of a visual genius, and I do hope that the film will get Oscars for its dazzling visuals and soundtrack. It's imperative to watch it in 3D on as big screen as you can find.…

I rated this film 1 star because of its lazy script and lack of character development. We have a 17-year-old college student Isabelle who decides to become an escort for some vague reason, then quits when her elderly regular dies under her, eventually starts dating her peer, and by the end of the film is drawn back to the escort trade again. The main character is aloof and emotionally detached, she never says or reveals anything more than a bare…
One of the biggest letdowns of the year. The film doesn't push any genre boundaries and is as cliched and sloppy as it gets.
