seriously LOVED this movie. the sound and the score were incredible and as much as i love stanley tucci, i think he was the only unconvincing performance. everyone else blew me away! I really was expecting an anti-climactic ending but damn.
i like to think that they didn’t show the smoke at the end because it was actually pink

Potentially the most visually beautiful Sci-Fi movie I’ve ever seen. The way Alex Garland created a grounded surrealistic sci-fi adaptation about ***** will never cease to amaze me.
The scene where Oscar Isaac returns home wiggle Helplessly Hoping plays is enough to get this movie 5 stars for me but it just keeps going.
An incredible all female ensemble, jaw dropping cgi, edge of your seat suspense and scares, and a twist that still gets me after 3 watches. I cannot review it highly enough. All hail the shimmer.”!
