A small town, a methane gas explosion in the local mine that lead to the death of five miners with only one survivor, caused by an inexperienced miner and son of the owner of the mines (our protagonist Tom), and a series of killings unfolding after, with a timeskip of ten years inbetween the first and most recent events.
