  Cinematic psychopathy. 

  Visually constructs one of the most deranged characters I’ve seen through ultra close ups, body-mounted shaky cams, and overhead Birds Eye view shots. Genuinely a masterpiece of low budget camerawork. 

  The rhythmic beats of footsteps and clinking keys as our killer is released from prison devolve into the chaos of broken glass, screaming, and grunting as he reoffends. The preventative structure of his imprisonment morphing into a frenzy of unchecked violent impulses. 

  Would only recommend to the most desensitized enjoyers of this stuff. But it is absolute cinema.

  What a couple weeks for movies! 

  I’m not the toughest person to scare but this shook me to my core every couple scenes. Super effective at being both terrifying and a great thriller. This type of horror is really hit or miss for me, this one blew me away, 5 stars.

  They had a crew and Dracula stuck on a ship together and found a way to make it boring. Also has wildly dumb characters and a really bad ending. At a couple points it gaslit me into questioning if I even like movies anymore
