There’s something off-putting about watching a movie tell you that men will always exploit a woman for their own needs if given the chance, while it does exactly that. There’s nothing wrong with having sex scenes in a movie, but if you're going to use them as a supposed metaphor for a character’s growth, then you’d think it would be a good idea for the character’s feelings on sex to change as she grows (literally).
