  This film gets so much right. Cillian Murphy nails the mannerisms of Oppenheimer. The set and costume design is a beautiful rendition of its time period. The soundtrack is soaring and tense. For a story filled with enough politics to risk straying into the dry and boring, it is told in a remarkably compelling way.
  Finally, the stunning visuals of Oppenheimer imagining atoms, or exploring the vistas around los alamos seal this as a movie worthy of rewatching again and again.

  Stalker 1979

  Stalker brings you into the zone. Not much happens there, but it's got a weird vibe, and people are afraid of it.
  With modern movie sensibilities, watching this film feels like edging for 3 hours. There's no dramatic payoff to all the tension it builds. But it has thoughtful themes, dialogue and world-building that make it worth a watch at least once.
