I was going to give this movie a full 5 stars for it's clear mastery of all things cinematography. however, i heard through the grapevine in my reliable circles of US intelligence that the turtle club were responsible for the attacks on the world trade center during 9/11. frankly, as an american patriot, i am appalled by this information. we got involved in a 20 year war to protect opium grown by pedophile warlords over a misunderstanding.
...but the turtle club scene was still pretty funny when i saw this movie at my 10th birthday party.

typical fare from hiroyuki imaishi but with less tolerance for the epileptic. seriously, don't watch this if you can't handle flashing lights. however if you like Gurren Lagann or Kill la Kill, you'd probably like this seeing its just gurren lagann with fire fighters.
my one gripe (aside from the flashiness for the sake of being flashy) is that the main character, Galo, almost gets pussy at the frozen lake from the pink girl who's sister is making the burnish…
