Gone Girl is a thriller that grabs you from the start and doesn’t let go. it follows the mysterious disappearance of Amy Dunne and the media frenzy that ensues, with her husband quickly becoming the prime suspect. The real emphasis is the portrayal of Amy, which is both chilling and heartbreaking. The movie keeps you guessing, constantly twisting expectations. It’s a sharp exploration of marriage, media, and how easily the truth can be manipulated. If you’re into psychological thrillers, this one is unforgettable.
"Marry My Dead Body" has some flaws that hold it back. The pacing can feel slow at times, especially in the middle, and the humor becomes repetitive. The characters, particularly Wu and Lin, aren’t fully developed, which makes it hard to connect with them.
The mix of comedy and serious themes doesn’t always work, and the tone can feel off as the film switches between lighthearted moments and emotional ones. The ending is also a bit rushed and leaves some plot points unresolved, which might disappoint viewers expecting a clearer conclusion.
