  For the life of me, I can't understand why studios are so dead set on making *this* same movie every year/year and a half. Some solid performances can't save the movie from feeling like it was grown out of petri dish.

  Fantastic performance from the lead. Stomach churning stuff, without being neither gratuitous nor  sanctimonious. Made me want to rewatch Anatomy of a Fall oddly enough thanks to the court scenes, and that's meant as high praise.

  Forgot this was actually the first film of 2025. Watched while suffering from food poisoning, though I believe anyone watching this might experience similar side effects. It's bad!
