Hey, forget about it! 'Every hood's got a dream,' and Carlito's dream? Well, it's one wild rollercoaster through the mean streets of 1970s New York. Al Pacino's Carlito is like the comeback kid of Spanish Harlem, trying to ditch the mob life for good.

Picture this: Pacino, all cool and loaded, strutting through the city streets like he's on a runway. 'Carlito's Way' isn't just a movie; it's a vibe, a time capsule of 70s swagger and mob drama.

Had high hopes for this one, probably my most anticipated release of the year. Went in blind—no trailers, no spoilers, just vibes. Got some funny jokes, a funny twist early on that caught me off guard, but after that? Didn’t really go deep. Felt like it could’ve explored a lot more, but instead, it played it safe. Also, way too predictable. Nice film, but just nice. Nothing more.

That Patser style is just too slick, man. Watched Gangsta back when it dropped, and now hitting this one felt like a no-brainer. I remember sitting at the premiere of Patser with my day ones, directors and cast in the house, whole thing felt like a party. Visually? Pure Adil & Bilall—flashy, vibrant, keeps you locked in. These guys know how to make a film feel alive. Can’t wait to see where they go next, I’m on board for the ride.

Funny jokes and some fun-to-watch action scenes, but overall just a mediocre film. I had to check it out because I really enjoyed Sophie Thatcher’s performance in Heretic last year.

This one brought me right back to the nostalgia of watching Pixar films as a kid. A great story about being the odd one out and finding where you belong.
