    Some of the Coen's strongest character work, especially within their more comedy heavy films. The psychedelic aspects add a lot when they appear, and I could watch Roger Deakins shot footage of a bowling alley for hours.

    Effortlessly classy and fun. Soderbergh knows this lane well but he's still able to show it from a different angle. Everything fits into a tight 90 minute runtime too, the result of some confident and smooth editing.

    My main issue (which I've decided was mainly down to the Cineworld screen I was in) was that the lighting in most scenes had such a soft touch it made me felt like I'd smudged my glasses before the film started.

    There's a moment that comes out of nowhere towards the end which reads like some sort of divine intervention and I thought was really well done
