  I first found the first-person pov choice kind of distracting, but once I got settled into it, I thought it was great. I had previously read the book but appreciated this as its own thing. I like the idea that the framing makes everything feel like a memory. In recollection, everything was framed perfectly, the light was great, etc.

  Also, this is unrelated to my thoughts on the movie, but I instantly recognized Daveed Diggs from the back of his head.

  An insane cinematic experience. Absolutely envelops you in its world, and everything feels like it has a place or reason. So many scenes and shots here that already feel iconic. Will probably watch again and have more coherent thoughts but just as an experience it's incredible.
