Hands down my favorite of the “Halloween” sequels. An excellent story that explains whatever became of Laurie Strode. Tightly written with a terrific cast and excellent performances throughout the film, Jamie Lee Curtis (likely unknowingly) offers an amazing portrait of someone suffering from PTSD.

Pretty good entry to the series, not my favorite. Positives include some great effects including the movement of the face huggers, an excellent performance by David Jonsson as Andy the synth and impressive AI to re-create Ian Holm. For anyone who has ever struggled with moving on from fear or sadness, something to consider watching.
