SPOILERS!!!
I knew going in that this would be fully Donny’s story and Rocky wouldn’t be there. I went in with an open mind ready to embrace that. Even with that knowledge it was unavoidable to feel Rocky’s absence. At times the film felt like it was going out of its way to erase him.
Michael B. Jordan gives an ok performance. I was expecting his portrayal of Adonis to be on par with his stellar performances as Kill Monger…
